Terms and Conditions

​1. Acceptance and Use of Platform

• ​By accessing or registering an account with Biker’s Deztination (BD), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines.
• ​Users must be 18 years or older, or have explicit parental/guardian consent to utilize the platform.
• ​You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information for all profiles, listings, and event advertisements.
• Biker’s Deztination is a closed-community platform. While the landing page is public, access to the search facilities, business directory, club profiles, and interactive features is strictly reserved for registered users. Any attempt to bypass registration or scrape data from the platform is a violation of these terms.”

​2. Accounts & Self-Managed Dashboards

• ​User & Entity Portals: Individual Bikers, Clubs, and Businesses are provided with dedicated dashboards to manage their unique presence on the platform.
• ​Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.
• ​Verification: To maintain the integrity of the community, BD reviews all initial registrations and profile updates before they are made public. BD reserves the right to suspend or remove any content that is false, harmful, or inappropriate.

​3. Listings, Events, and Media

• ​Content Limits: Club and Business descriptions are limited to 500 characters to ensure a uniform and professional directory experience.
• ​Event Adverts: Clubs and Businesses may upload up to three (3) event images or advertisements at a time.
• ​Intellectual Property: You retain ownership of the content you post but grant BD a non-exclusive right to display and promote this content within the platform and on our social media to benefit the community.

​4. Payments & Cancellations

• ​Secure Payments: All payments for business listings or upgrades are processed securely via PayFast.
• ​No Refunds: As these are digital visibility services, no refunds are provided once payments have been processed.
• ​Cancellation Notice: Paid packages may be cancelled at any time by providing written notice to dez@bikersdeztination.co.za.
• ​No Pro-Rata Rates: Biker’s Deztination does not offer pro-rata rates or mid-month refunds. To ensure a fair exit period, any cancellation notice received will result in the account remaining active until the final day (30th or 31st) of the following calendar month.

Example: If a cancellation notice is received on June 15th, the subscription and benefits remain active until July 31st.

​5. Privacy & Data Protection

• ​BD complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
• ​We collect limited personal data (including name, email, age range, and gender) solely to operate the platform and improve community features.
• ​We never sell or trade user information to third parties.

​6. Community Guidelines & “Ubuntu” Spirit

• ​By joining BD, you agree to treat all members with respect. No harassment, hate speech, or abuse is tolerated.
• ​Users must post only relevant, accurate content. No scams, spam, or false advertising.
• ​All members are encouraged to act in the spirit of “Ubuntu,” fostering a community built on shared humanity and mutual respect.

​7. Disclaimer & Liability

• ​Connector Only: BD connects bikers, clubs, and businesses but is not responsible for transactions, sales, or disputes between users. All dealings are strictly between the parties involved.
• ​Liability: BD is not liable for any losses, damages, or claims resulting from the use of the platform.
• ​Disputes: Any unresolved disputes will be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
